Hi, I have two 1944 steel wheat pennies. I am wondering if they are authentic or not. Thanks.

All you need now is the 1944 D Steel One Cent!
(I highly doubt they are authentic but this is the first time I've see two different mint steel 1944's in one post)

I am pretty sure they're fake and not genuine.

Look at the difference between the two 4's in the date.
Dead giveaway for a fake.

I think there are only 35 to 40 known genuine 1944 S steel pennies out there. How much did you pay for these?

They have that soft cast look to them that screams fake. I hope you didn't pay too much for them?
