I wanted to join this community because I have coins I want to get NCG Graded. However I don't want to send them if they are Junk or have been cleaned. I will post a new topic for opinions. As I learn, of the many coins I once thought needed graded is shrinking. That is good and bad. Good because I am not spending money needlessly. My advice is to take enough time to select a few coins to grade. Once they get back, you will have an even better idea of what to send or not send. Report this Post to the Staff

To decide if any of the coins you have are worth slabbing, get a good idea of a preliminary grade of each, then look up the catalog value. If a particular coin has a potential slabbed value of more than $100, then grading and shipping fees could be justified. Also makes them easier to sell at a fair price on ebay, if you choose to do that. Report this Post to the Staff

Also if your not sure if your coin meets the standards for slabbing , just ask us and post photos of the coin's obverse and reverse ,and close ups . We could save you a lot of money on their fees & postage if a coin doesn't qualify for sending to a TPG . Report this Post to the Staff
