My Name is Chili. Nice to meet fellow collectors. I wanted to join this community because I have coins I want to get NCG Graded. However I don't want to send them if they are Junk or have been cleaned. I will post a new topic for opinions. Nice to meet you all.

Welcome to the Community! Hopefully you will find that most of your coins needed graded. As I learn, of the many coins I once thought needed graded is shrinking. That is good and bad. Good because I am not spending money needlessly. My advice is to take enough time to select a few coins to grade. Once they get back, you will have an even better idea of what to send or not send.

Chillidogdave: to the CCF!
To decide if any of the coins you have are worth slabbing,
get a good idea of a preliminary grade of each, then look up the catalog value.
If a particular coin has a potential slabbed value of more than $100, then grading and shipping fees could be justified.
Also makes them easier to sell at a fair price on ebay, if you choose to do that.
Rest in Peace

To CCF , Chili I think you meant to say you want to have NGC grade your coins . Not NCG .
Also if your not sure if your coin meets the standards for slabbing , just ask us and post photos of the coin's obverse and reverse ,and close ups . We could save you a lot of money on their fees & postage if a coin doesn't qualify for sending to a TPG .
