Hello all,

I've been lurking for a while, learning what I can and reading and browsing the forums. I have a pile of coins lying around, mostly just stuff that's been sorted out of pocket change over the years.
I found this 1967 1-cent with some interesting features.
On the reverse, the denticles from the 'C' in Canada to a just before the '1' in 1 cent are missing, also missing or faded from the same area on the obverse.
The obverse is interesting in its own right however. There are 3 large patches stamped (scratched?) into it. This is an otherwise very good looking coin, with minimal circulation.
Any idea what this might be?

Thanks to all for any insight...

to CCF. The missing dots is a minor Struck Through Grease.

I agree with the Struck Through Grease for the beads on the Reverse, The last photo of the obverse looks like some sort of adhesive.
