That is a pretty penny, no pun intended. I cannot tell from the photo but it could be Wexler: WDDO-002. I am a Beginner so get a couple more opinions.

Lincoln8989,
Nice images but what areas of the coin look doubled or thicker to you?

Looks pretty normal to me as well. Not every coin has an error. I suggest you research the various types of errors and how to identify them. CCF is a vast knowledge base, please make yourself home here. But once again, not every coin has an error. Keep searching!

Not seeing a DDO. Did you check the three reference sites?

What sites did you go look at to make you believe this may be a DDO?

Well you are looking on the right area on the centers of the devices. The along with a spread, you should see the device enlarged. The size is normal. So what you are seeing is coin contact on the tops of the devices. This is a side by side examination. This maybe not the same mintmark as your coin, but you will get a better view of comparison with having to move from one coin to another this way. See if this helps?

After you find your first true DDO, then you will kick yourself for looking too hard on coins that were not doubled dies. These will jump out at you when you find your first doubled die. Your eye is there, just not the right coin has come under your glass. You will know when you see it, and won't even question it. You will be showing us your first doubled die and being proud to have found it.
