@john1 you are thinking what I came to the conclusion the obverse is where the shoe on lady Liberty would be it's fascinating thank you for the response

 to the CCF! I did a quick clash overlay of a Walker half. The foot look like a close match. You can use the overlay image to look for other clash marks. Click the photo for a larger image

Most of the time the clash appears in the center area of the design. That would be where you should look first for a clash error.

Ordinarily yes, but on the walking half so much of the central area on both sides is taken up with relief design detail that you are more likely to see clashes out more toward the edges. Die clashes are typically seen in the field and the only field area close to the center on either side is below the flag on the obv or above PLURIBUS on the rev.

I figured as much I looked for another clash there's a little bit above the date where the USA marking is appears to be sporadic lettering favoring the outside edge
