1) The San Francisco mint made no coins in 1959.
2) see image below, pay attention to the last 9 in the date.

John042, compare the last "1" to the first "1" on your coin.
Notice how both are straight, vertical strokes.
The "9" curves to the left.

1959 cents have the Memorial reverse, not the Wheat reverse.

John042, what were you hoping it was? Was it just that you thought it was a '59-S Wheat? Or did you see some other error. I only ask because the reverse photo is too blurry to tell what might be going on. I want to make sure we didn't miss something.

The subject of this thread seems to indicate they hoped it was a "1959 S Lincoln Penny".

Thank you all for the warm welcome and I was really hoping it was a 59 Wheat penny I know they're not supposed to exist man that would be sweet though

OP is asking if it' a mule cent, nfine (it's not, just a 1951-S Wheat cent).
