The first one isn't linking. But it would have to be an absolutely exquisite coin to beat that second one

I wouldn't bother with the 2nd one, not a fan of: ( weak strike, LDS ). First coin not linking up .

I believe almost all Buffalo nickels struck from 1913 to 1919 are very common in weak strikes. I updated the first one and it should be linking now.

I like the stronger OBV strike, specifically in the date area, on the second one.

Are you shooting for a type 1 or 2 ( you have linked one of each)? I like the 2nd "better", but If you were shooting for a 65, I would hold out for a better strike. Yes, it's a problematic date, but they're out there. Also, for a T1, that second one is way overpriced IMO. Just my 2 cents.

I just wanted to have at least one 1913 S. Doesn't matter if type one or two. I am not doing a full set.

Gotcha, then I would go with whichever one floats your boat! Thrill of the hunt is part of it for me, so if it were me I would keep hunting for a stronger strike. But that's just me
