I am not sure if it was harshly cleaned or if it is a bad cast forgery. Or both. I mean, what the heck would you have to do cleaning to end up like this? Molecular acid?

That was some serious corrosion. But, credit to the seller, he DOES say harshly cleaned. Not 'BEAUTIFUL GEM BU MUST SEE!"
