Having recently posted about Barry Borsellino's NL variety works, I am posting my NL 1943 one cent for your grading and discussion.
This is Type II, wide 43, repunched 4, Far low C variety. The scarcest of the 1943 one cent varieties. There are 3 varieties in total. This Type II is apparently a mint error, having been struck with chromium plated dies to give the coins a highly polished or proof like look
Though not easily shown in the pics, the coin displays the polished look with a shiny light blue toning.
What would you grade it?
Does anyone else have one of these? If so, show us.
