Hi all,

Having recently posted about Barry Borsellino's NL variety works, I am posting my NL 1943 one cent for your grading and discussion.

This is Type II, wide 43, repunched 4, Far low C variety. The scarcest of the 1943 one cent varieties. There are 3 varieties in total. This Type II is apparently a mint error, having been struck with chromium plated dies to give the coins a highly polished or proof like look

Though not easily shown in the pics, the coin displays the polished look with a shiny light blue toning.

What would you grade it?

Does anyone else have one of these? If so, show us.

Again, curious to see if anyone else has one of these?

I have an MS Type II, you're right. It is a weird looking coin. I'll see if I can take a decent photo. I just tried now and it did not look good.
