What do you guys think. I recently won this coin off ebay and am seeing what you guys think. I am trying to establish a small type set in conjunction with my Indian Head collection.

Wow, I don't generally like the Liberty nickel series but that is a nice coin. I have probably ten Liberty nickels and none of them look that good.

Little jealous, wont lie.

I guess technically speaking, this isn't my very first one. I have some others but they were given to me. I feel like I got a pretty good deal on this one. All of the other "V" nickels I have are practically wafers for lack of a better term.

I think the 1883 no cent nickel was the first coin I bought for my 7070 album (wasn't the first one in the album but the first one I didn't already have and had to buy for it)

That looks like a pretty clean example of the "No Cents" variety - it's a one year type, and one of my favorite type coins. I'm having a hard time finding one that isn't dinged up.

Very nice coin! I don't really collect this series, but the ones I do have are all G-VG with maybe a single F or VF in the mix. Most of the hair detail has been worn smooth as has the letters in Liberty.

I'm kinda curious. What do you guys think I paid for this coin? The thing I've noticed is that even though the prices of RedBook aren't very high for Liberty nickels, most are really hard to come by and tend to draw a higher premium.

mine was graded by NGC as MS-62 and I gave like 40 bucks for it about a year and a half ago so I will guess somewhere around 30-40 bucks (this is a total guess because I haven't looked at these things in a long time)
Rest in Peace

I bought one very similar just last week. $25 Dollars.

They are not my favorite, but they are nice I think.

Nice coin. I'd peg it at about XF45-AU.

Price $8-10? Been a LONG time since I bought one but have several examples of the No Cent variety. A lovely piece of history.

Strong extra fine. Nice coin. I would guess $35-40 off ebay.
