To me this feels faked, yet I realize that there are hundreds of different mint errors. Too many for even the most seasoned collectors to nail down each one precisely. fortcollins Pillar of the Community United States 3644 Posts	Posted 04/16/2020 3:52 pm First, This is post-mint damage. From the photos, it looks like your coin has glue on the surface. It appears that another coin contacted the glue, leaving an image of the Memorial in the glue that was on the obverse. You could soak the coin in Acetone (outdoors and in a well-ventilated area, for safety) to remove the glue. This should also remove the image of the Memorial from the obverse.
