Came with the nicest set I've ever seen. Seriously, spectacular Washingtons. Among the collection was this guy. It's got beautiful surfaces and almost looks like a weird strike rather than a cleaning. Based upon the quality of the other, accompanying coins I have to ask, is it cleaned?

Too much flashback to see the surfaces clearly.
Rest in Peace

EDS for sure . It doesn't look cleaned to me . But at the same time I can't explain the rough fields .

I'm not convinced it's been cleaned (but can't rule it out). I have similar quarters in my collection--strong luster with traces of 'environmental' toning like yours.

Would love to examine the coin in-hand. Nice example.
