I was wondering if these parallel lines constitute an error? Hard to see but they run about halfway around the inside edge of the penny. Any info would be appreciated. TY

This coin has a Ridge Ring caused by Die Deterioration. The die was starting to fail and needed to be replaced. The resulting coins have the raised area just inside the rim. Many coins struck with old dies show this type of ring, so it's nothing rare and really not collectable.
