1952 Canadian Nickel "Zombie King" PMD Or Error?

I have an Ugly but very weird 1952 Nickel. I call it the "Zombie King". Looks like its corroded but what I find weird is how come some of the letters are sunken in the coin (George VI) yet other letters are raised (DEI). Also the Nickel is slighter smaller and thinner then the normal nickels of this series.

Any comments or Info would be welcome and appreciated.
