Amateur here, I ran across a couple of quarters in the wild today.
This is a 2001 S N.Y. State. It looks like it's not worth much but was wondering if it is rare to get them in pocket change ?

@rc, we see impaired proofs posted on CCF with some regularity, but I agree that they are a fun find in the wild. I think for grading, you will need to post overall pics of both sides.

Lets see "if it's rare to get them in pocket change" for me in the past 15 to 20 years of checking my change I've been handed 2 and have found another 2 while searching rolls for the past year or so...2x2 it and date it with the date you found it and lets see when another one comes your way....good luck....
