Hey guys this will be my first time on a forum and I'm very excited because of my excuse to post something to get me started, I'll just say I really love penny collecting. I also am fairly knowledgeable and have done a fair share of research... I've looked all over for this unique penny I have and haven't seen anything that matches the degree of thickness almost everywhere on the date, motto, and liberty. Also on e pluribus unum on the back of the coin.. please tell me what you think as I'm very excited to hear from an expert.. I must emphasize again how excited I am because I'm not one to just see md as a doubled die. If this is what I think it is I might have discovered an actual treasure in the numismatic community. Without further ado....

to the CCF!

It's really hard to tell anything from these images. If you could post large, close cropped, sharp images we may be able to help.
ANA ID: 3203813 - CONECA ID: N-5637 Clean a coin that may be worth collecting? Please DON'T! When in doubt, leave it dirty!!

to CCF...next time crop out all unnecessary background, that will enable us to blow up a better quality photo. From what I'm getting from your cent is either circulation wear or a short time as a Dryer Coin which is the cause of the "mussy"/enlarged devices. Next post photos of the front, back and close-up would help. Again and good luck on future finds, have fun...

Looks like the coins devices were flattened. That is what I see. Probably the same thing on the reverse as well. Only one side showing.
