Well, please excuse the pictures. First time posting on the forum. I realize the 1964 SMS has been debated many of times before and the possibility of this being one- may not exactly be in my favor. But I have matched many die marks to the confirmed ones ( marks on reverse including between F and A of OF AMERICA, underneath the same A, 2 verticle marks below the right wing.) It certainly looks to me like a different finish than business strike to me yet definitely not proof. So I dont know if the images will come out that well, but wanted to get some other opinions. Let me know if its worth taking some time and trying to come up with some better images.

Thank you for the welcome. Again, the die polish marks made me think of the possibility. Also, I wanted some people to really take a look at it before they dismiss. I bought it in the early 90s(ironically around the same time that the first ones came out from the mint directors estate). All 5 denominations came in an actual SMS US mint set, the blue background one they used for 66,67. So if anyone put these coins in the case, it was at a time they were very little known about from the early 90s. Bare with me, I'm trying to post an image.

I dont have a clue myself, but the ones that are graded all have the die scratch coming off the F thru the A and to the star at the tip of the wing. I also see it on yours. I'm not saying it is the SMS tho.The surface doesn't look right on yours

Welcome to CCF! I would take it to a reputable coin shop or show to help with assessment of this coins. That is a very nice looking set of coins, regardless.Good Luck!

Your half dollar has the RDV-002 (flared G) the 64 SMS has the RDV-001 (straight G), yours could not be the SMS.

Thank you everyone for the welcome and advise. I do believe though that it is the straight G with broken ray's between 11-13. (Probably just a poor image to see well)
