I have saw where people have found penny obverse with dime reverse. This is not that , but I see a ME in the metal - was this from mint or someone's experiment causing damage ? And how did you come to conclusion for my future knowledge please. Thank you all for thoughts/opinions/facts.

Solder? Does that mean as in someone welding on the coin or something? So damaged coin,not mint error ( I don't suppose they have welding equipment in the mint ,? I will keep posting different coins, not giving up til I find something Thank you For CC replying

Glue, solder, matters not as it did not leave the mint that way. It is post strike damage.

Looks like some kind of epoxy like JB Weld.
