Hope this doesn't offend anyone. With to much wording. It's (very) hard to see with to much magnification but on obverse there's an outline just where struck through on reverse. I tried to draw with finger where it is in black. It's jagged around the edges just like reverse especially where the red arrows are pointing. It's like a clash the yellow arrow part of memorial. I know about imagination kicking in if you look to long at a mark on a coin but I was putting back in flip and noticed it. But it sorta disappears with to much magnifying. It's weird but it's there.

Looks like a legit struck through, maybe gritty grease?

Here's an overlay of the coin. It shows where the strike through lines up with the obverse and about where the clash marks would be.

Hope it helps!

I just took your images and enhanced them in Photoshop, put them both in one image, then inverted both sides, reversed both and then changed the opacity on the "overlay" so that the image shows where the features line up.

I LOVE to use Photoshop overlays to research errors.
