I am new to this page and I am no coin expert but I have been trying to research and learn more online. I was wondering if any of you could tell me if this coin is worth something. There are no edges or signs that there ever was. It is very smooth 1951 d quarter. In these pictures I am comparing it to a 1965 quarter. Please let me know what you all think.

It had reeds when it was produced, but they have been taken away by either circulation or someone spooning the edge. The quarter you are comparing is a good example of the reeds being partially removed. Just PMD

The 1951 is silver so it'a value is a bit more than face value. The 1965 is worth face value.
