I finally got around to opening my 2020 Silver Proof set, and no Reverse Proof "W" nickels. I ordered 2 sets, as always, and the invoice listed the nickels, but they were not included. I am hoping it was an oversight, but on a chat online, a representative said they were "while supplies last". I am filling out a "Certificate of Non-receipt", and will email it to them tonight. It says that it can take 4-6 weeks for review and processing.

Sorry to hear that. I received mine as expected. No issues.

This is bad practice, at least the Mint should notify the buyer that its no longer available on their website.

I too am sorry to hear this. Maybe the Mint will still fix this.

I am hoping that it was just an oversight, as a quick google search did not find any people complaining of this. But why would the US Mint's "chat" person's first response be that they were "while supplies last"? Hopefully just a screw up on his part...

If it shows on the invoice then it should have been in the box.
I have seen them slip under the cardboard flaps of the box. I almost threw one away last year. Found it when I was breaking the box down for recycling.
Hope you find yours (or the mint makes this right). Good luck!

Not cool. Quote: If it shows on the invoice then it should have been in the box. Quote: I have seen them slip under the cardboard flaps of the box. Yes. Please look carefully through all packing materials.

I had the Cents fall out of the box when they had them with the proof sets. Had 3 evnevopes but no cents to go in them... The Mint replaced them... and sent me 3 more envelopes too.. I've sent them suggestions and complaints about putting tape over the flaps on their boxes to no avail... Maybe if everyone here sent them complaints, they would put 2 cents worth of tape on their boxes...

Quote: Maybe if everyone here sent them complaints, they would put 2 cents worth of tape on their boxes... 2 cents worth? Do you have any idea how much tape that would be! OK, checked, not as bad as I thought, just 2 inches of tape.

Update: With no additional communication, I got a package yesterday that had 2 RP nickels. So, all was handled!
