Based on the 2x2 flip, not good! We need better pictures. Take the coin out of the flip and take closer pictures.

He might have set it aside because the 1960 small date coins are less common than the large date ones. Even so, the 1960D small date is not rare, and in that condition might be worth only a little over melt value.

No they are not. With the 1960D about equal numbers of small and large date exist. The 60D SD carries no premium.
