I dont see a band saw doing that. The blade is bigger than that whole cut. I do agree its PMD. No telling what really made that cut. I worked in a fab shop for many years. This could be done with a CMC laser or a mill. Can see where each corner is rounded off to be able to turn and make the next cut. If you could cut that with a band saw John, you have some skill!

Definitely PMD since it goes all the way through the coin. Done by a cutting wire probably.
