I need some tips about how to get a good photo of a Proof coin. I always have problem with the light reflection. The best pic I can acheive most of the time the coin would show the camera lense in the field.
Here are some of my trials, I would appreciate any tips.
Amr, Have you tried "axial lighting"? If you do a subject search on it you will see it discussed in previous posts. All it involves is shooting through an angled piece of glass. The glass reflects all the glare away from the lens.
Also, do you have a means to "preview" the shot before you take it? I do this with proofs and try to get the lighting so that the fields are dark and the devices stand out in contrast.
