Then this book is a must for your library. Before I put the link in here I want you to know that I have purchased the book, read it, and started using the techniques noted, and I am very pleased. I also have NO interest, financial or otherwise in this publication, so this is not meant as spam of any kind. But for less than $20 I think this is a terrific investment in knowledge. The book is "Numismatic Photography" by Mark Goodman, and I strongly recommend it.

Thanks Mr Aged Aromatherapy I am not serious about coin photography but I need all the help I can get with my amateur attempts. The book has been added to my Christmas wish list so hopefully Santa will think I have been good enough for it.

It looks like the author has good techniques for shooting coins in slabs.
