Maybe I'm getting old, but I'd say it has VF-30 details, but a weak strike that makes it look lower grade. Still has all the hairlines and good wreath and braid details on the obverse, and decent veins on the leaves on the reverse.

I'll go with VF-30. Where are you finding all the Canadian coins, Don? I would think they would be hard to find down there in Kiwiland.

Given the hair detail, I'd say VF-30 easily, if not even higher.

I'll guess VF 30. Its too detailed for VF20. Maybe a good fit for the made up grade VF25!

All of a sudden they are popping out of the woodwork (lost 3 x 1859's as they went for $70 crazy)and in rough condition
plus picked up this die cracked 1894 vicky penny
