I've had this one a while and considering putting it in my "submission worthy" pile of coins. It is the FS-102 and has a great luster. There's a 63 version of this coin on CoinFacts and this one blows it away! What do y'all think?

A really nice example. Toning is not unattractive. I'd say MS-65 or better.

It may be helpful to potential viewers to know what there looking for on the Variety you say it is: "FS-102"
That would be a " DDO" In God We Trust.
I honestly don't see it even when I blow the picture up.
If it's there it isn't strong enough on detail to determine that designation...just sayin!
It's a nice enough coin IMO to warrant a grade
of MS64 but the distraction for me
(my eyes went immediately to obv. right field area)
Not sure if this hasn't been cleaned some years ago.
It just doesn't look right to me...darker peel looking.
1945s by strike standard are a little weak especially on the reverse.
(Look at Eagle's tail feather and under left wing feather area) not much detail.
Being a toner may or may not give it a better grade.
I collect WA's and I personally would only have it graded
if the DDO Variety is granted by a top TPG!

Yea village kid I'll post a link. In my opinion a very nice and obvious doubled die. The spread on the 9 and the R of LIBERTY are some of the strongest in the series. The MS66 versions of this coin sell in the $800 range. http://varietyvista.com/09b%20WQ%20...5SDDO004.htm

Willburton,
Vista is a nice reference tool showing die stages etc!...
I now can see a bit of doubling on certain criteria of this coin...Your pics just don't show enough but I can make out some of the letters to say it would qualify as FS-102 but to what die stage I'm just not qualified enough to attempt here. Not trying to knock your coin but a MS66 is stretching. If you can get a MS64 or MS65 then by all means have it graded.
Wish You The Best On The Coin!

Yea Village kid I would be surprised with a 66. My PCGS membership ended in April but it looks like they extended it until next April!! I'm guessing due to the closure. We're slowly opening up here in FL. My county hasn't had any new cases in a week or so. Ready to get back to normal!

Wilburton, Brother lives in Plant City and he's been cooped up for the last month...I can tell he's getting frustrated at times but at least you have a pretty good Gov. there in Fl doing the right things IMHO...We just started opening some restaurants today here in Elkhart, In. My friend is ecstatic No more carry outs..YEA! Ok...better quit here as others may get upset with the chit-chat....Take Care, Be Safe and Prosper!

Nice! That's a strong doubled die. It has been and will be on my radar for sure. Great pick!
