Grease Filled Die issue...value can be found stamped into the reverse of the coin...IMO

I agree with greasyfingers. Either a light grease-filled die or an overpolished/late stage die. Either way, you see almost as many coins with faint or no FG as you do with a crisp FG. I wouldn't pay any premium for one myself.

Before 1966 they didn't have initials.
1990-Jefferson-Nickel-No-Designers-Initials
Added on 1966 design. (Probably a new master hub was created?)
