Hello!

I would like to ask if anyone knows what coin I have. It looks a little bit like a George Terter coin, but not exactly. Thank you for your help!

Have a nice day!

Some similarities here, but the style of lettering seems way off.

@bobl, my first thought was Serbian too. I'll try to check my Rengjeo this weekend and see if I can find a match.

@markkram, first welcome to CCF. Second, can you please also post the weight and diameter of this piece? Thx.

I agree it does appear to be Serbian.

I can't help with the attribution (though if the letters on either side of Christ are definitive, it looks like a closer match to BobL's second link).

But will add that I have learned something today about medieval history that I never knew: that someplace as far west as Gorizia (Gorz)had the Serbian king as their overlord in medieval times. Must have made the Venetians rather unhappy.

The name to the right of the king is indeed CTEΦAN (Stephan).

@markkram, sorry for my late reply. I've looked in Rengjeo, but don't find your specific coin. The closest I could find was from Bosnia, but the character set was not Greek (e.g. F instead of Φ). I would tentatively list this coin as being as 14th Century Goerz until I had better info.
