I know about the 72 (MD). I checked Coppercoins, Wexler VarietyVista. Only WDDO-026 sorta close. Sorry for all the pictures but wanted to show with different lighting. The 2 has a split on the end of tail. It looks to have 4 spikes. The last picture pointing out doubling hard to see. I think other doubling is clear to see. Can't wait to see feed back on this one. As always thank you for it.

On the top your seeing Machine Doubling on the left side/top on the '2'. But it looks like a DDO. Not sure of the number yet though. What concerns me is that this might be die scratches on that area. On the image #4 on your set, there appears to be die alteration on the bottom of the upper loop and it shows also on the upper mid area of the '2' on the left sides of the devices. So seeing the non listing for this, you might try submitting this to John Wexler to see what he thinks. If maybe just a die issue, rather than a DDO. But let him make the call to see if he would like to see it?

the inner part of the loop in the 9 looks promising (that's where I first look on this year)

Maybe coop could put up his images to illustrate what I'm writing about
