I am the owner of this coin. I do not know much about coins I just want to verify that this is in fact an error. I do not want to misrepresent it in any way.

It has a raised o half on the edge. Please advise.

to the CCF! What you're seeing is a coincidental hit to the rim area mimicking the Letter O. It is post strike damage as this happened after it left the mint.

who is this guy telling you "grade it"? Sounds like a jerk giving you awful/sarcastic advice to get you out of his hair.

This coin has received a beating out in the wild (i.e., post mint). So no error - the "o" you are seeing is most likely caused by something leaving that mark as the coin was pressed into it.

Just because a coin is old, doesn't make it valuable. Some years of coins were saved more than others. I would never waste my money having this coin graded. The payback is just not there.

Funny on this coin he did not say grade it but he did say "common error but in this condition it is not worth anything".
Thank you all for your help.
