I would be at XF45 with a possibility of AU50.

it would be nice to see the real color on this one as we cant see the fields to determine originality. the coin has the sharpness of an AU50 or maybe AU53 coin. the strike weakness may hold it to AU50. the price is

EF-45 and a good chance it will "details" for an old cleaning.

It was kind of grungy and dull when I got it. I did give it a soak in acetone then xylene. It has better luster than the pics show (as much luster as you can expect from a 160 year old, ½ inch coin).

your lighting is really bad to grade from. use natural light and if possible never shoot through any type of holder

The first pics posted were out of any holder, taken outside. After taking those pics, it was put in a new 2x2. The last pic was taken in natural light through the window, trying to capture some of the coin's luster.
