An old friend, I've owned this piece for at least 15 years.
Housed in an older NGC fatty with barcode, never been to cac.
Any thoughts and comments are appreciated.
As for the luster, almost full cartwheels in hand.

Too much of a newbie to offer a grade on this, but she's a beautiful coin, I think.

The "highlights" on the bust are intriguing. I'm not familiar enough with these coins to know whether that's typical or not.

Lots of appealing detail. She's a beauty.

I'd say AU-55 with some strike flatness, lovely toning.

Luster is great, and toning looks original. High points have some obvious heavy rub. I'd be at AU-55+ for this coin. Probably worthy of a star for eye appeal too. I could see it market graded at 58 just because it's so darned pretty.

I'd be at 55, but that toning and eye appeal pushes it up to AU-58 for me.

I'm going with a solid AU58. Fields are clean, plenty of luster. Light wear on high points but I'm attributing "flatness" to a weak strike. Nice coin!

It's honestly so much prettier than any other AU coin I've seen of the same type that a part of me wants to say MS with a very flat strike. I'm a touch hard pressed to see how any circulated coin, even if lightly, maintains that degree of luster.

Undergraded a hair, I think. My first impression was 53 actually but the luster pulled me up to 55+
