Hello guys,

I am new to the coin community. Can someone please help me figure out if this 1891 S coin has an error on it. It looks like the "1" in 1891 is not really correct. Any help in discussing what is going on with this coin would be appreciated.

Second question, will the small carbon spots on the reverse of the coin affect grading?

Thanks very much.

If you are talking about the 2nd 1, it looks like PMD to me.
The spots are not bad enough to keep it from being graded.
