Just the dreaded Machine Doubling. The die is normal, after the strike the devices were altered in a direction across the coin. What is missing. The hub doubling. The hub doubling is on the doubled dies. So the reason they called them doubled dies, is that the die is doubled. Machine Doubling can also happen on doubled dies. But again, they cause, the machine altered the devices right after the strike. Spendable.
