Looks like some filling around the queen, somewhat common. You can find this on some 1964 nickels as well as other denominations with no addd value as far as I am aware.

Overpolishing of the die, the intent was to extend the die life as long as possible. With your coin, the obverse die is in a more severe state of deterioration than the reverse. Some collectors have given these all kinds of odd names, like "crying Queen", "spitting Queen", "floating ribbon", etc...

Usually you see two types of overpolished dies:

1. where the polishing or Die Deterioration abrades the sharp edges of where the devices meet the fields (also shown in your coin's obverse); sometimes, in George VI coins, it appears as a "halo" around the King.

2. the polishing erodes the surface of the die, so that the shallow devices are near or at the level of the fields (highest part of the die).
