Found this CRHing...is it anything special? The Mintmark is really close..cant find anything about it...i know they were hand punched but have not seen this close yet

Some 1953-D have some strangely placed mint marks that's for sure. The best RPM for the year has the mint mark really close to the date.

Mint marks were added to working dies by hand until 1989. Their target area was below the date and to the right of the bust, so they could be almost anywhere, or upside-down, or sideways.

1990 was the first year MM's were added to the master die,so 1989 was the last year for RPM's and varied placements.
