coop Bedrock of the Community United States 62064 Posts	Posted 05/26/2020 9:13 pm Have you ever used a rubber stamp? You might get an outside edge to stamp on an envelope. But can you get a center letter to punch all by itself? It can't be done. Same way with a die. If there's an extra letter and it's smaller and incuse, how could it happen from a die strike? But you might be thinking it might be a RPM? But the mintmark would be raised and the same exact size as the one on the coin already. But it didn't happen that way. It is coin contact.
