first I do hope you are all safe from the coronavirus

iam fairly new to US coins and token world ... I got this item that looks a lot like USA 1 Cent

i wonder what it is called. it is worth anything important? or just normal ?

@zb, first welcome to CCF. Second, I agree it looks like a cast 1983 US cent on one side. Perhaps Stonehenge on the other? That is odd, but I'm hoping that someone here will be able to help you.

Maybe some sort of 'hobo nickel' type coin depicting stonehenge? The graininess on the obverse as a result of a chemical treatment used to make the metal more malleable?

Very interesting!

There are replicas of Stonehenge in Texas (Odessa) and in Washington (Maryhill) plus 'Foamhenge' in Virginia and 'Carhenge' in Nebraska. Maybe this was sold in the gift shop at one of these attractions?
