The monthly coin show in my area has not been held since February but according to the promoter is going to be to be held in late June. This is great news but I am concerned about how social distancing is going to be adhered to in such an environment where previously everyone was packed in like a tin of sardines in a small VFW hall.
I assume many of the regulars may not show up but there could still be lots of people there with 3 months of pent up demand and folks eager to get out of their homes despite the risks. I think I am going to try to be in and out very quickly only stopping at my favorite dealers if the place is fairly crowded.
Your thoughts?

Well, if it is like the rules for retail openings in my province of Ontario, there may be a maximum number of people allowed in the hall, and maybe everyone wears masks, What state do you live in? Check the rules in your state for retail businesses-they might be similar.

I do not think I am ready for this yet. My next show is in the late fall. I am not sure what that means. We might have opened up and closed back down for the "second season" by then.

Up until this virus stuff hit I was going to 3 to 4 shows a Month. Now nothing in my area at all. Not even sure if and when one will be opening. I really miss those.

The monthly 1 day coin show that is local to me, is planning to happen on June 14th. They are trying to work with the hotel to host the event safely.

I just returned from two state parks today. One in western Maryland and one in West Virginia. Both were packed (two-hundred plus people at each), few wore masks and there seemed to be little social distancing. Assuming this is not an isolated situation, the coming weeks should give an indication as to how soon things can resume as before, including coin shows. Personally? I think by late June and we'll be fine.

I don't see it happening as the first lockdown didn't last, but more to come.

It a toss up at this point - local legislation to be determined.

SC had the worst one day total for new cases yesterday. Spin it however you want (not here though), but I think our "opening up" has made us backslide.
