I've scrutinized enough LMC's to realize something is amiss, SW of the earlobe. At first, I thought it might be a bubble/plating issue but prodded w/ a toothpick and nothing. Then I thought it could be a minor clash but reverse didn't seem to match w/ the area. The shape looks as though it could be doubled hair details but idk? Not quite sure what to make of it . Opinions? Thanks.

It is something on the coin. Note the color? It is not the same as the coin. Not part of the strike.

Are you referring to the green spot touching the ear or the hair extension that runs parallel to the beard line?

That extension almost looks like a linear plating bubble. But it's solid?

@Greasy.... sorry for the confusion, yes, the hair extension located further South West, not the green spot touching the earlobe.

@Jim.... My original assumption too was a bubble/plating issue & prodded w/ a toothpick in attempt to deflate, but nothing. I believed it to be solid. Maybe I shouldn't have rolled it w/ the other reject coins & put it back into circulation? Well, BofA now has possession of it, ha!
