$485. This one is the scarcest of the four New Orleans Mint issued Seated dollars and the first one I have owned. Thoughts? Thanks!

I'll say F details (ED). Not a fan.

Not a bad example , solid Fine details reverse better and nice
Sharp mark free rims . This coin is a candidate for NCS or another
Restorative service, due to the Enviro issues .

F details. I'm skeptical that this can be restored.

F-15 with a shot at 20. Looks like a "details" coin.

I think it's fine and it will straight grade, too!

Nice pickup at a nice price!

I think this would straight grade. Right in between a F15 and VF20, no bump for eye appeal so I think it will stay at F15.

F15, shot at VF20. I'm guessing it will straight grade.

Fine details with the appearance of ED. Below average eye appeal. Of course this comes with the usual disclaimer of trying to make an assessment via photos. Best to run it by some knowledgeable individuals/dealers who can view the coin in hand. Ask them what they would pay for the coin. It can be an eye opening experience and add to your knowledge and in the long run will help you in future purchases.

I agree with westernsky. Also attempted graffiti removal on the reverse around the eagles head.

Oh and on the grade?

My guestimate is now revised from a straight grade "fine" to a "fine details" due to graffiti removal and/or attempted repairs.

New pictures are worth a thousand words. You shipping it back?
