Has anyone ever considered asking Charlton about this possible error? It seems I have run across other questionable information in volume two that does not correspond with information in volume one.

This is a book I purchased back a few years ago 2005 I'm not sure if they are still available, its a very good book on uncirculated sets. They used to have a web site that I belonged to at the time but with very little traffic on it they decided shut down to bad it was an excellent site with many knowledgably people on board sad but gone. I have never seen a type 1 cent in a PL set but according to the writings in the book they are out there, I have the regular sets but also had two type 3 sets.

To confirm what is in the text at the bottom of the book's page: my set is Type 2 dollar and Type 3 cent.
That would be set variety 05.
