I'm not sure if this is wear and tear or if it came from the mint like this. My 1985 Philadelphia Washington quarter has a groove in the I and t of liberty. As well as the "in" looks smashed together inside of in God we trust. What do y'all think? I have many coins and many questions. This is my first.

Looks like a worn die and circulation wear.Possible Struck Through Grease as well. No added value.

Considering a lot of quarters are used in vending machines, they are not kind to coins. But I agree with John1.
