I'm trying to find the 1962 D DDR-001 and I'm having a real hard time differentiating the photos from VV to a regular cent.

Could I have some help please? Thanks!

Look at the A of STATES and You can see split serifs. There is light doubling on some of the devices but the serifs on the A will be the easiest pickup point to look for on this one. It will be tough to spot on later die stages. From your picture, I don't think you have one.

It would be a class 2 doubled die. SO it could be on the top or bottom the devices. If it was on the bottom of the devices circulation wear and die wear could hide what your looking for. These may not be the same die, but I'm showing examples to help you spot what a class 2 doubled die would look like:

When the outside devices suffer coin wear or die wear, You can look on the tops of the EPU: When it is strong enough)
