Note the affected area? Is this raised or flat? When the punch is used to form a mintmark is this raised or flattened? So if the affected area is flattened, then it was alter post strike. Not a RPM. just damage. If the device is altered post strike, the damage will also be seen as a contact mark on the device. So this is not a RPM, but damage to the coin.
