I've been seeing rumors of other dates having them, but is any of this confirmed? If so, does anyone know which years/mints have been confirmed to have WAM varieties?

1988, 1988-D, 1998, 1999, and 2000 are the only confirmed examples of RDV-006 (Reverse Design Variety #6, " Wide AM") being inadvertently used on business strike coins.

All reverse design varieties no. 1 through 6 have the " Wide AM" spacing in AMERICA. RDV-006 is identified by the lettering spacing AND the flared font G in the designers initials, it is important to note this as all 1988 cents have the Wide AM spacing but only a few have the RDV-006's flared G.

There were reports of a 1996 " Wide AM" being found but it was never verified or confirmed.

RDV-006 was used on business and proof strikes from 1989 to 1992 and on proof strikes from 1994 to 2008.

Typo: Meant 1996 " Wide AM" that was reported and never confirmed.

The 1996 example was seen, but not confirmed as a legit Wide AM. The example was stolen. But I feel it was probably an altered coin like the Magician coins. If there were more than just one example, more would have been found. So I doubt that it was legit.

Thanks guys! That's good to know, Coop - the reported 1996 was the coin that made me think I could be leaving things out of my searches. Good to know it's most likely not legit.

Take the 1988 and 88 D off that list, The confusion comes from PCGS listing " WAM" on 1988 cents with rev of 89. ALL cents before 1991 are Wide AM (So 1988 cents with the correct rev or the rev of 1989 are both WAM reverse. The RDV-005 hub is also a WAM rev.). 1992 comes both ways with the CAM rev being rare and all business strike cents 1993 to 2008 are suppose tohave CAM reverses.
