This coin weighs 3.0 grams and is slightly rolled thin. The Feeder Finger Damage is on the reverse. UNUM and E have weakness. At first glance I thought it was grease but the whole area is raised. Wh at do y'all think?

Hi, Willburton. Nice coin you got. I still have to learn more between feeder finger and die gouges. Since the point of origin of your coin seemingly originate from the rim, a foreign object might have caused the raised areas. I am leaning to die gouges. That's MHO unless otherwise stated by the experts.

Note how UNUM was altered so much that the devices are very thin at this point. Also note the right wheat stem is also very think. The motto looks like a Struck Through Grease error. Some strange things were happening to the die when this coin was struck. Also PIDT:

Yea coop I was saying rolled thin. The top of the obverse is showing weakness and the lower reverse. Hey coop I was just looking at the EDS 1955S/S/S and noticed the name under the pics! I'll be posting an awesome one soon!

Nice example of the die gouges from Feeder Finger Damage on coins from this era.
Words of encouragement are one of the major food groups.
We need to consume them regularly to thrive and grow.
