Is it possible to get a s mint dime from bank rolls? I hope you understand what I'm asking. I have 5 rolls and before I open the rolls by mistake searching. They are 2020p. Thanks

I mean, yes it's possible to find a proof in a roll, like any coin.

Exactly. For instance, I've searched through 10,000s of cents (not a lot), haven't found a single proof.

Much more likely to find proofs with half dollar, dime, and quarter rolls, in my experience.

Too, it's possible to find a S mint mercury dime--although very, very, very unlikely. Just open rolls and let the coins fall where they may. Once in a long while a cool one is uncovered.

But these are bank rolls of just 2020 p dimes. No chance of a Mercury dime. Thanks

if they are bank sealed rolls of 2020 dimes, you will not find a proof coin in them..

yes, MS "Mint State" coins can be found in bank rolls as well as circulation because MS represents the condition of the coin, not a designation of "obtained directly from the mint"
