I have a set of President Dollar coins and quarters left to t me from my father that were purchased from Littleton Select and are in sealed bags identifying them as uncirculated. Do I leave them in the bags?

It's just the packaging they come in. I got a bunch of coins from my grandpa and he had quite a few of them from the Littleton Coin Company. Personally, I think the company is kind of a scam, as they took advantage of my grandfather through hyping the rarity of coins.

Most people probably buy them because they need a coin for an album filler. Not a lot of people collecting Littleton Coin company coins in the plastic. If it isn't a rare date they aren't worth much anyways.

Well in the bags right now they are basically worth face value (unless the set contains the proof coins, they would be worth a little more) and once you take them they will still be worth face value so it is kind of a toss up. If you are wanting to put them in some kind of holder or an album you're not going to hurt them or reduce their value (unless you get fingerprints all over them or scratch them up.)
Rest in Peace

It's a matter of preference . No wrong or right way to go about it .

I'm going to say the standard "handling" advisements since it was left to you.

You don't want to handle the coins by the surfaces only the edges. Your skin oils will Leave marks on them. Or wear gloves.

As far as the coins themselves they are going to be the standard uncirculated hole fillers for albums. Better quality than from circulation but not worth much more than face value. Not to diminish it, I mean a uncircualted State Quarter that's clean and not marked up sells for roughly $1.00 let's say, an uncircualted Presidential dollar that's clean sells for around $2.50. This is what they would sell for sitting on a website or on ebay waiting for a buyer, not what a dealer would give you which would be less, and the dealer does the work to sell them. I'm not sure a dealer would by them really unless part of a more valuable collection and then they stick them in the $1.00 or $2.00 bins and wait for the hole filler people to come in.
You don't want to mess them up by handling them. If you don't have albums for them I'd say leAve them in the baggies.that's at least keeping dust off of the coins and keeping them from scratching each other depending on how they are stored.

I always take them out of the bags, unless they are worth more than face value.

Get them out of those bags as soon as possible. With Littleton, it's about maximizing profit more than coin collector interests in mind. Those bags are the cheapest available and almost certainly not pvc-free which will destroy a manganese coin such as Presidential dollars.
